This site is dedicated to hurting people who want to get emotionally healthy.  Please know that this site is a place for me to post my thoughts, and for others to consider them.  However, it is not meant to take the place of a competent therapist.

I am a Christian, so much of what I have to say comes through that filter. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling degree. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have over nine years of experience treating people.  I treat those in crisis who might be coping with health or midlife issues, or suffering with eating disorders, or who have issues related to self-esteem, child abuse (especially childhood sexual abuse), trauma, boundary issues, and intimacy.

I facilitated a weekly group for adult survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse through the WINGS organization for two years.  I have been a guest speaker for many groups and I am an affiliate faculty professor at Colorado Christian University.

I work with adults and adolescents and treat many people with a wide spectrum of emotional struggles and concerns.

I am also trained in EMDR for posttraumatic stress (PTSD).  I am certified in Prepare-Enrich and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for premarital and couples counseling.
